Transport & Parking

How to get there?

  • by public transportation: from Liège Guillemins train station to Baraque de Fraiture with TEC Express bus line E69 (timetable)

  • by shuttle: in addition to the public bus lines, we are organizing shuttles to offer later schedules on Thursday, Friday (arrivals) & Sunday (departure). Reservation here.

  • carpooling/hitchhiking: connect with the community and organize carpooling via our private FB group: Trippin’ to La Nature festivalOR you can use our partnership tool Carpool (soon available).

  • by car: GPS 50°15’21.4N 5°44’00.8E

In an effort to continually improve the sustainability and carbon footprint of the festival, we strongly recommend carpooling. It is a first step to meeting the community you are sharing this adventure with as well as taking the strain off the car park and reducing your carbon footprint. La Nature tends to take you to the heart of a social journey, which starts at your doorstep.

Car & bike parkings are free and close to the festival site. Do not leave valuables in your cars. We decline all responsibility in the event of theft.

Free Water

Potable water will be available free of charge at several places on the site. Water tanks will allow you to quench your thirst and refill your cups and water bottles. Remember water is precious; use it wisely

Drugs

We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug use during the festival. However, we also provide a safe place, in collaboration with Drugs Care (CAL Luxembourg), for anyone who has used and wants to find answers to their questions, learn about harm reduction methods or just talk.

Philosophy

Inclusivity & Respect

At La Nature, we aim to integrate inclusiveness into everything we do. Not only by the artists we host but also by our partners and collaborators.

Participants, artists, staff, it is everyone’s responsibility to safeguard the values of the festival and club culture by creating an inclusive environment for all.

Everyone, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, migration status, social class, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, sexuality, religion, age, physical condition or ability, has the right to perform at a festival and to enjoy music and party in an environment free from bullying, harassment or discrimination of any kind.

We strive each year to take additional steps beyond the status quo to ensure equality and foster spaces that allow everyone to feel comfortable and safe. Spaces that will enable everyone to feel welcome and to be themselves.

If you feel unsafe or disrespected at any time, please speak to the badge-wearing organisers. We will be there to help and support you.

Intimacy & Privacy

There is no harm in taking a few shots of your time at La Nature with your smartphone, and we take that as a compliment, but we strongly advise you to leave it out as often as possible. Avoid taking videos, especially when they capture the faces of your surroundings. It is vital that everyone feels free during the festival and does not have to worry about being posted on social networks afterwards. Moreover, it often hinders the artist from building their vibe.

Thank you for being so understanding.

Safety

When you arrive, look for the first aid point and emergency exits on the map in case you or someone you know needs them during the festival. Bring a small first aid kit if you can. Of course, our teams will be able to help people with physical or psychological problems at any time. There are quiet places to relax and rest.

Sustainability

As you know, La Nature Festival is the fusion of artists, festival-goers and organisers in the same place for one week during the summer solstice.

Respect for the environment is one of our core values, and every year we try to take the measures of respect, sustainability and waste separation management even further.

An eco team will work tirelessly during the festival, but that doesn’t stop you from taking the first step towards a healthier environment for everyone. There will be sorting islands throughout the site as well as ashtrays, both fixed and portable. Please feel free to use them and help us to reduce our carbon footprint a little bit more.

In 2021 and 2022, we added a new dimension to our commitment, the climate dimension. We have therefore carried out an annual carbon footprint®. In a few words, the carbon footprint® is a tool that allows us to estimate our GHG emissions to reduce them and thus limit our impact on the climate.

This new dimension takes into account not only the activities within the festival but also all the elements on which the festival depends for its smooth running:

– CO2 from fossil fuels (petrol, diesel, kerosene) used for the travel of festival-goers, organisers, artists and the transport of goods and equipment (sound system, food,…)

– CO2 for the production of electricity for lighting and all audiovisual equipment

– CO2 linked to the fossil energy needed to manufacture the equipment and the rented spaces (building, tent, bars, barriers, sound system, etc.)

– Methane (CH4) linked to the burping of the cattle and other ruminants that make up certain meals.

As you can see, our emissions result from an interdependence between festival-goers, artists, suppliers, service providers, and the organising team.
